Meet Our New Intern!

Hi! My name is Sierra Stevens and I am the spring intern for Discover Hanover®!

This semester, I will be writing articles for the Discover Hanover®️ Magazine, publishing blog posts (like this one), and more! I have been interning with Main Street Hanover for the past few months, so I am very excited to work with the rest of the chamber staff.

I am currently a senior at Hanover Senior High School. I tend to keep a very busy schedule for myself. I am the co-captain of the varsity volleyball and softball teams at Hanover. I also act as the senior class vice president, recording secretary of student council, and editor of the school newspaper, “The Orange and Black,” in addition to being involved in numerous other student-run organizations.

I’m typically a pretty well-reserved person. I love reading (even though I rarely ever have time to do it). I spend most of my free time watching movies with my friends, listening to Harry Styles, arguing with my identical twin sister, Saige, and playing with my dog, Kaya—she’s over 100 pounds of fur and enthusiasm so she tends to get a little over excited.

Next fall, I plan to attend a four-year university to major in marketing. Between creating advertisements for events, designing logos for organizations at school, and writing the script for morning announcements, marketing has always been something I am very passionate about.

I’m very much looking forward to working with everyone here at the Chamber of Commerce and I can’t wait to get started!
