The Hanover Halloween Parade will be celebrating its 78th season in 2019. Appropriately so, this year’s parade takes place on Halloween night. Featuring music from local bands, prize-winning floats, and handfuls of candy for all to enjoy, the parade is a long-standing tradition for Hanover residents. Starting several days before the big event, lawn chairs will line the sidewalks of Baltimore and Carlisle streets as locals “reserve” their spots, year after year.
The parade officially begins at 7:30 p.m. and ends around 10 p.m., running from the intersection of John and Baltimore Streets and ending at Guthrie Memorial Library on Carlisle Street.
To make the most of the night, we recommend watching near center square, as food vendors often set up in this area.
