Come downtown for December’s 2nd Saturday!

Join us for the Hot Chocolate and Cookie Stroll on December 12, 2026! Stroll through our charming downtown, visit local businesses, and enjoy samples of delicious cookies and hot chocolate along the way. While you explore, enjoy festive entertainment including carolers spreading holiday cheer and a visit to Santa’s Cabin in the Square.

Hot Chocolate & Cookie Stroll Ticket $25 | Your ticket includes:

• A keepsake souvenir hot cocoa mug
• Delicious hot chocolate & cookies at each stop along the stroll
• A festive to-go box so you can take home (and savor later!) any cookies you can’t finish

• Cultivated Essentials Co – Cardamom Crème Cocoa — a luxurious hot chocolate infused with brown sugar, cinnamon, and cardamom, topped with house-made whipped cream.

• Dawg Gone Bees – A sweet surprise is in the works.
• Dolphin & Anchor Pub – Aldus Brewing Company – Salted Caramel Cocoa, the perfect cozy sweet-and-salty combo.
• Fat Bat Brewing Co. – will be offering cookies plus samples of their chocolate-covered strawberry mocktails.
• Fresh Flours Bakery – A sweet surprise is in the works.
• Hanover Market House –A sweet surprise is in the works.
• Hanover Valley Presbyterian – Cookies by local artisan, My Jenny’s Bakery.
• Jocelyn’s Puppies LLC – Offering either Peanut Butter or Oatmeal Honey Cookies — flavors inspired by our furry friends and their favorite treats.
• Keystone Kidspace – Kids’ Hot Cocoa Bar — fun toppings and whimsical flavors designed especially for little holiday explorers.
• La Libertad – Flan Nice Soft Cookies — delightfully soft cookies with surprisingly delicious flavor inspired by traditional flan.
• Little Fox Coffee & Books – Peppermint Dark Chocolate Cookie, a merry and minty delight.
• Lydian Stone Brewing Company at Greer’s Burger Garage – A sweet surprise is in the works.
• Merlin’s Coffee – A sweet surprise is in the works.
• PeachLeaf Bakehouse – Expect a homemade, comforting cookie with an unexpected twist — a cozy seasonal surprise.
• Pressell’s Florist – A sweet surprise is in the works.
• Redding Medical – Orange Hot Chocolate — bright, citrusy, and cozy all at once.
• Salinas Mini Mart – Pan de Puerquito — a traditional Mexican molasses cookie with piloncillo richness and a soft, comforting texture.
• Serpent’s Key –A sweet surprise is in the works.
• Texas Hot Weiner Lunch – They will have festive cookie and cocoa selection.
• The Cake Bar – Gingerbread men and caramel chai latte – A cozy and spicy Christmas treat.
• The Golf Loft – White Chocolate Cranberry Orange Cookies — bright citrus paired with creamy sweetness.
• The Sea Gypsy – A wave of cookie flavors decorated with sea-themed holiday sprinkles.
• Victory Baptist Church –A sweet surprise is in the works.
• Vinny’s Italian Market – A Cannoli inspired dessert to celebrate the season.
• Wicked Gems Boutique – Gem Cookies — dark chocolate cookies studded with pistachios, cherries, and butterscotch chips.
• Wren and Bluebird Boutique – Classic Sugar Cookies — timeless, sweet, and full of holiday charm.

*Children ages 4 and under do not need to purchase a ticket for the Cookie Stroll! They are welcome to accompany an adult who has purchased a ticket, sharing cookies and hot chocolate at each stop. Please note that children without a ticket will not receive a souvenir cup.

What else is happening downtown on 2nd Saturday?

Church of Satire Comedy Club Grab your pre-show meal or drinks at Fat Bat Brewing, Dolphin & Anchor Pub, or Lydian Stone Brewing Company, and you’ll receive a coupon with a discount code for the Church of Satire Comedy Club—valid for any show scheduled on a 2nd Saturday! Just mention the comedy club when you place your order so they know to give you the coupon afterward.

Cultivated Essentials Co.is a BYOB DIY Candle Studio! No reservation required. Come as you are, choose from over 50 phthalate-free fragrances. 10% Off on 2nd Saturdays!

Hanover Area Artists Guild will also have a story time and kids crafts on 2nd Saturdays from 1pm to 3pm by local authors and illustrators.

Fat Bat Brewing Company will be hosting a vendor pop-up with local artists in their fermenting room from 1pm – 6pm. Enjoy shopping while drinking a beer.

Little Fox Coffee & Books will have storytime with Miss Kelly from 10:30–11:15am.

Lydian Stone Brewing Company at Greer’s Burger Garage will have Maria’s famous homemade cinnamon rolls and mimosa’s available every Second Saturday from 11am – 2pm

The Neas House will have Open House Tours every second Saturday 12pm – 4pm (with a few exceptions). They will also be featuring Christmas in Colonial Days – Dulcimer entertainment (TBA) & Cookies for the MainStreet Hanover Cookie Walk.

The Serpent’s Key Shoppe and Sanctuary will host their Pay-What-You-Can Tea Bar with Herbs & Sympathy! Beka and the H&S crew will be serving up the best cups in Hanover—drop what you can in the cauldron, because everyone deserves a hot cup of tea. Every Second Saturday | 10am–6pm
